Reefer Rates

    2 of those turns and it's time to call it a week. Why would you want to run a 1,000 miles in a day? Get it done in 26-28 hours take a rest break and call it good. Do it once again and go home for some R&R. Then do it all over again the next week, etc.

    Ya think there might be a reason Idumped my dry van and got a reefer since all this is in my backyard.

    I find rates like this all the time around here for reefer, but struggled for dryvan.

    Know your markets. Up here, it's a good place to have a reefer. Last week, it was 88 mile rounds for $350 a round. This week, 250 mile days with full day rates. $3/mile is easy up here with a reefer. $2.50 is common.

    Dry van is nowhere close to any of that.

    26-28 hours, more like 10-12 hours.
