    It's just like when you see a post for a 53'. Mine's a 48 and I'll often call to see if they'll take a 48. That hasn't been a problem, at least for me.

    If the 48 is a spread axle, I'd consider that one first. I prefer ribbed over smooth skin as the smooth skin will probably show every little scratch nick and dent. They're both good trailer manufacturers. I'd prefer the Thermo-King too and as an added bonus, the whisper unit is the bee's knees.

    the dane is a better trailer hands down over the utility. unfortunatly I like TK units better but it's not enough to sway me to the utility with 30k hours. That's a #### pot of hours.

    you can load a 48.

    I'm prejudiced! Great Dane hands down. Medicine Man is right. 30000 hours is a bunch. Truthfully based on what info you gave I would take the GD,no doubt about it.
