    Celadon said no. They said they don't hire drivers with a cdl that have not driven a class A vehicle in years. They told me I would need to go get training since most of my driving was a class B.

    Celadon have their own training school though, did they offer you that?. I applied there for their refresher/training program but they said I live outside of their hiring area.

    Yes I ask about and was told that's for those looking to get a cdl or new cdl holder. Paschall Truck lines said the same.

    Maverick only requires you to have a CDL. I went there and had been 2 1/2 years since I got my CDL and ended up getting a non-driving job. Called them and got hired. When got on trainer truck had not driven in 2 1/2 years but felt comfortable driving after training.

    Have you tried the all the companies on the updated list chinatown posted?. I haven't driven for years and Abilene accepted me for their training program.
