I've hauled a couple of places like that, I don't like it secured like that either. I know it's legal, but it just doesn't seem safe to me
Refused my first load today

What are they thinking that stupid cheap fisted non loading shipper? -
This is why i want these!
http://www.loadchoker.com.au/NoBigHurry, Lepton1 and Peelsession Thank this. -
Was it you that posted those in another thread? If so thanks. I ordered 4 of them yesterday.Last edited: Mar 7, 2017
Lepton1 and street beater Thank this. -
Yeah i post em now and then. My company hasnt agreed to buy or allow them yet. Im pushing hard. They would solve several problems and make things easierAirborne Thanks this.

If you do loads like pictured above they would pay for themselves in 2 loads. Just buy them.
Airborne Thanks this. -
Thats the problem, i dont do rebar ect.. but we do a ### ton of mixed loads, pipe, 10 and 20' pallets of varying sizes ect. The redirecting of force and angle of the straps is what im more interested in. The ability to pick where on a bundle of pipe the strap comes off to the other side rather than the forced geometry of a choke
Ruthless Thanks this. -
So spend a bit of money and get some. If they work like you think they do, and save time, it should be easy to convince your boss once you have used them in practice.Airborne, Ruthless and street beater Thank this.

Save the receipt and he might reimburse you for them once he sees them in action.
