Ever seen the sign, “No shoes, no shirt, no service” ? Why aren’t you angry about that?

Does 125,000 deaths seem to indicate there might be a reason to wear a mask?

The virus travels on water droplets, small droplets. A cloth mask will catch those droplets that the virus is riding on.
Where did you get your medical degree? Trump university, I presume!

 

I am neither. I am retired. But I have administered the regulations for both HIPPA and the ADA....neither require a medical degree, but I do have two college degrees that included law classes.

Most truck stops around the country wont hassle anyone about not wearing a mask, whether its in a mandatory state or not.

When Covid first became a thing and states started making it a requirement, saw some TS try to enforce it, but it didnt last long.

I figured it wouldnt last, at least at truck stops. We drive all over and probably prone to forgetting if it's needed where ever we are at.

Also a lot of truckers are stubborn. If they decide they arent going to wear a mask, then they just won't. The TS employees probably got tired of arguing with every other hard- nosed trucker that walked through the door about face covering.

Locals that are worried about covid can get gas at a local station and avoid the travel centers for the time being. Because like I said, you arent going to get drivers to cover up.

Its like the confederate flag. You can outlaw it, but southerners that fly it will never take it down, period. Southersers, truckers, and especially southern truckers... Good luck getting them to do anything! Especially if it comes from the White House. It just isnt going to happen.

So just accept that some folks just arent going to do it. Whether the masks are the right choice or not, it doesn't matter. We need food and toys hauled. Just let them have their trucks stops mask optional.

Also, if you don’t like wearing a mask, just think how you are not going to like being intubated. You know the procedure right...they stick a curved metal tube down your throat, so they can run a plastic tube to your lungs so they can hook you up to a ventilator.

Maybe someone on here that has been intubated and can tell us if they would rather wear a mask or be intubated.

The more you go without a mask, the higher the odds of you getting intubated. So roll the dice, and hope you don’t come up with snake eyes.


I would rather have a catheter put in than be intubated.
