I've used my GPSRandMcNally 730 many times to deliver in New York City, but I always look up all my shippers and consignees in Google Earth first, which is a free download. Enter the address to your shippers and consignees in Google Earth, then zoom in and place a pushpin right in the driver's entranceway. Right-click the pushpin and choose properties. When the properties dialogue box comes up, you can see the GPS coordinates of that pushpin. Then key those GPS coordinates into your GPS device. That way your GPS device will route you directly to your shippers' and consignees' driver entranceways every time. It works, even in NYC. Try it.
