Wow I just looked back at how old this thread is. Its been dragging on forever. But I am happy to say that after hitting every snag possible, my 2nd career funding has been approved and I should be starting my course on the 29th.I cant say enough about how good the folks at ttcc have been through this whole drawn out affair.I am so looking forward to getting started. Gotta say though after being off work 4 yrs for surgeries etc. It feels a bit odd to be starting over in a whole new field.

Great. My course in Ottawa that was to start on June 22 has been delayed until July 20 so I am hitting another snag. Oh well, i'll just enjoy the summer weather. What location are you training at?

Just an update. I am starting my training this coming Monday at TTAC in Sudbury. Thought I would be starting in class first but looks like I am going straight to the driving

Omg I just love dealing with the government. Now after telling me My funding was approved, I get an email saying I need a letter from My ortho surgeon saying i am physically able to drive a truck. Wow silly me I thought thats what the medical was for.If I am unable to have this by next thurs when I,m due to sign the papers for funding I will be held up yet again.

The government certainly does not make things easy do they. If you were a Senator, you would have no problem getting money for a Starbucks coffee!
