Actually no I slow down to construction speed regardless of everyone else passing Me at least I won't get a ticket ....my company also has a captain of the ship policy so there's no reason for me to speed because they rather I be safe first before anything else..

 

I believe there is some middle ground in all of this. Yes, we all have sped, whether its a few miles over the limit or whatever. We dont always get caught, and when we do its the 1 time out of 1000 that we did speed. Whether its 1 or 10 over its speeding made worse by the fact that its in a construction zone thats well known for having alot of accidents due to speeding. I would be more appalled if everyone came on here and said "well good for him" for quitting in response to the safety departments response. Until someones name is on the side of the truck and have to make executive decisions based on the decisions of some drivers, then its hard to judge to the safety departments response.

However, since I do have my own name on the side of my doors ill say, good for the safety department!
