Ok, so this is still under warranty and the repairs are being directed by Navistar?

Warranty ran out a couple weeks ago, so no warranty, but the dealership involved Navistar to help identify the problem. From what I understand, the dealer submitted a bunch of computer data from the truck to Navistar to assist in the decision. I just don't want to throw parts & labor at the problem without solving it.

I had already purchased the Injectors before I received your message. I'm going to have them install them and see what happens. I will update.

Since the warranty just ran out, ask for policy on your case, customer good will. Many time they cover the cost of the parts or labor or both. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks! I will try that. Do I just call Navistar?

The dealer can do this. Talk to the service manager. If they don't help you, then I would try Navistar customer assistance.

Ok. It was actually diagnosed 3 days after the warranty ran out!

In RE to 2014 Maxxforce 13:
Ok Heavyd, I would Really Appreciate the help of your vast experience with the Maxxforce engines! Or anyone else who can help! The dealership installed the New (not remanned) Bosch Injectors that I sourced online. I picked up the truck a week ago and it lasted 2 days. Took it back in and the DPF Filter was Full again and they had to use the Navistar Software to force it to Regen. Then they saw that the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor was reading 17,000 to 32,000 PSI, so that was replaced. I picked it up again last night and the driver left out in it this morning and it made it about 70 miles. All of the sudden it lost power and started blowing Grey Smoke. I had it towed back to the dealer and they checked it out. They said the smoke was from the DPF Filter was packed full and the smoke started exiting the side of the canister! They also said there is a "Fuel Knock" and that one of the injectors was "Dumping Fuel in the Cylinder". They used a Temperature Gun and decided it was Injector #4 because the temperature of the cylinder was higher (200° as opposed to 110° on the other 5). Service Manager said that either the Tip Cracked or fell off of the new injector. They will take it apart in the morning.
I just can't help but think that there is something else causing this fuel problem - the over fueling! It seems to keep happening after the new injectors and the fuel rail pressure sensor! Could there be something else causing the truck to over fuel? Faulty Fuel Pump? Faulty ECM?Programming? Some other mechanical fault? Thanks for your time for any help that anyone can lend.

These engines will run really poorly with a seized high pressure turbo, (the top one) and can cause fuel knock and mis-like symptoms because the engine can't breath properly. I would be checking this. The smoking could also be from it doing a regen and your DOC is worn out. This would also cause performance issues because the DPF is plugging.

Thanks. Dealer said that they checked DOC last week and the readings were not "Inverted", so they said DOC passed the test. They are supposed to check the #4 Injector, which they say is Overfueling, on Monday - all injectors were replaced with New Bosch a week ago. They said they want to make sure the tip didn't crack or come off. I will have them check the High Pressure Turbo. And I will have them check the DOC again. I am not that mechanical, so please excuse my ignorance. I am trying to post all the info that they told me to help make the best Diagnosis without having it in front of you!
