Regen melting quarter panel.

    I have since replaced the quarter panel, but this one is getting soft too. I never seen this before is it normal?

    It can't be normal. It is missing a heat shield in that area or else the system is not working correctly.

    Probably an exhaust leak directed towards that panel, or missing heat shield.

    There is a youtube guy named Trucking and Fixing wuth Ryan and he put out a video within the last year that had this happening. It was a leak like you mentioned and was melting the panel. I'd link it but it isn't titled as such and I don't have the time to sort through a year's worth of videos for the right part of one.
