Am I the only one having trouble with the steer tire weights? Ill have a 48.5k load and be like 12.3 33 34 but im under 80 is that ok? I was in the kw for a while and never had any problems with it being over on steers

You're always going to be over on the steers because they put the fifth wheel too far forward. It shouldn't be an issue. Depending in type of axle and steer tires you can be over 12 on the front axle. I've never had a scale house even look twice at it.Nightwind8830 and Figgy Thank this.

You re allowed 12,500 on steers other than Arkansas where its 12,000 max on steers

I dont know what Freightliner you're in but I'm in a 2015 Cascadia & I am also having trouble with being over on steers one time but not the next.

Im in one of those snub nose cascadias with mid roof and short sleeper. With super singles and a 100 gal tank. I can carry 49.4 in the box and still be under 80

When I was regional out of C'ville I was told you can go 14000 on steers as long as you are under the 80000 max gross
