regroovable tires

With my 19.5 during July and august.with 40,000# + the rear axle caps would chunk out or partial peel.
Maybe bad quality. I haven't tried with the 17.5.
Still getting this trailer back to like new. I bought this trailer in November 2016
Since November 2017. I've replaced.brake ,disc, calipers. Bearings,races and seals.
Air springs,shocks,Bushings and alignment.
That has helped with tire wear.
I always run caps on my drives.

My regroover arrived. Didn't take anymore practice than a short 6" cut in a spare tire.
This tool works easy. Set the heat on low and the setting on 2 and away I went.

I only did one tire on my trailer. That was all I needed to touch up. I will cut the rest as needed next month.
I can see how this tool gives me the potential to get a better value from my tires.
