    Looking for a way to reinstall Apps on a tablet that is being used for ELD. When the tablet was in the original condition, it had a bunch of Apps. Smart ### dispatcher took all of them off but 4. I would like to get a few back.

    You can always go to settings and reset the tab. You may have to reinstall the eld app. Is the tab yours or theirs? It might affect how it is used

    I would not recommend a tablet double as an ELD and a personal use device. All the various apps want the OS to behave in such and such way requiring a new this or that update, which may conflict with what the ELD software requires. In fact once you get ELD software that works, you should not update the OS or any other shared "drivers" (or whatever they're called in the android world) unless the ELD provider tells you to.

    This is why they took all that garbage off because it's only a matter of time before one of their shared API changes screws with your ELD app.

    The tablet belongs to the company. And think I will take the advice of STexan and leave well enough alone.
