you could be right.Truck driving is all about professionalism so they say.But on the other hand when I was there, alot of drivers did'nt fit the trk driving profile and Werner gave them chances.

Sometimes those 2 don't go well together...Enticing, in recruiter speak, is say anything to fill the seat, we'll worry about who's capable later...

sorry to hear about this my friend. Just wanted to throw my two cents in. If you went to a good enough school i would go with shaffer / crete .. I went with them right out of school and they were a great company. I screwed it up cuz of a dumb mistake but i will still say they are a great company. I made about $34000 my first complete year and at my year mark went up to .42 cpm. I would have easily made $50k as a 2nd year driver. They aren't perfect, meaning time to time a dispatcher will piss you off but that's the way the business is. Hope it works out for ya

    What can you see?
    Are your eyes open?
    How 'bout your mind?
Did you read and completely understand the OP's situation?
And bein' aware of that, you suspect that the OP did something wrong during orientation and that could be the real reason why Werner sent him packin'?
    Is that right?
    Define "good reason".
Is it remotely possible that Werner defines "good reason" as any reason they decide to use?
It seems you've missed the OP's point, --- there has to be a good reason why you did.
Read what Pete has to say, ..................................

Thanx for the explanation and inside peek at reality in this situation Pete.
Somehow I get the feelin' that PattyJ doesn't fully understand where the OP is comin' from.

Well, ...... thar ya go right thar.
If you've never heard of it, you apparently popped in at the end of the line without gettin' up to speed first by readin' the posts which led up to where you came in, --- late. Had you googled Aspergers before posting your comments, do you think that post would have had a different complexion?

In the world of reality there's a saying:
    Listen twice,
    Speak once.
I suppose the cyber equivalent would be:
    Read twice,
    Respond once.

Either way enables one to "see" the big picture better and avoids confusion due to misunderstanding.
Now that you've googled for additional information about Aspergers Syndrome, what are your thoughts?

Well excuse me for speaking my peace.I don't have a social disadvantage so of course I did'nt know what the op was talking about.I just assumed he had a run in with someone at orientation.

pattyj one thing i've learned from being a member of this forum is people are going to criticize you more than try to help you so don't worry about any of that. I don't know what the syndrome is that you have but don't let one companies decisions stop you or let peoples criticizing on here stop you. THere are 1000's of companies out there looking for drivers and many better than werner from what i've read about them on here. As far as being socially inept i thought that was a prerequisite for being a truck driver. We spend 99%of our days by ourselves so i'm thinkging it might be a good fit for someone like that. Yes you have to deal with shippers and recievers but most of them would rather you jsut keep your mouth shut while waiting outside of there windows anyway. I wish you the best and sorry for the people out here who jsut want to judge you and assume you are at fault for whatever has happened. BTW the type of school i was looking for in my last post was PTDI or something like that. If you went to a school like that crete will hire you. They do a heck of a background check so you need all your past employer dates to match and not many gaps in employment but again, i worked for them jsut over a year and they are a great company. Wish i still worked for them. Best of luck to ya

Pattyj does not have any syndrome; the OP has Asperbergers.
