Laredo may inspect but not good obviously, I left Thursday and while looking for a good MT the ones that were quote good, one had a hole in roof, another had air hoses that were cracked to hell and another no tread on left outer tire and I found all of that in about 5 minutes.

I picked up a relay out of Laredo OC. Found a brake chamber dragging the ground and had been that way for quite some time since the break point was rusty. Just do a thorough inspection and go if nothing found.

Dvir showed brakes worn/cracked. They looked fine to me. Gonna take an additional look at them today to see if there are any issues I didn't see when I picked it up.

The load delivers today, I had the trailer dropped at our Lowell Arkansas drop lot since Saturday, called in and let them know they could send someone to look at it there if they like since I didn't have to unload til this afternoon. They weren't interested in doing that, lol.

I know that if I leave it will be because of pure junk Trailers and lousy planners. I dropped a load here in Durant Oklahoma, after looking at four Trailers and hooking to two, I gave up because ALL were crap. What do you do when you notice this, I don't think any defects we find gets fixed? :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Many trailers have issues but that doesn't make them unsafe or unroadworthy.

What issues did those trailers have?

did you send in the trailer tbo mac to sem? mac 12 I seem to recall? attached red tag?

doesn't guarantee sem will do anything about it, you dont know they are even aware of these issues.

I think that's a big part of the problem many drivers don't understand that just doing a DVIR doesn't get anything done.
You have to send in the DEFECTIVE TRAILING UNIT macro or call it into Sem for a work order to be created.

Anything at all involved in a accident is going to be itself on a safety hold. It's not going anywhere.

BEst bet is to dump it and gtfo asap. Get another railer. There is like 15000 railers in there. Find a pretty one and ask dispacher may I? Ive been demoralized with tehse so dustry trailers for so long.
