I live in a suburb on the east side of Dallas, not necessarily where I’d choose to live except it’s where my wife lived six years ago when I married her, and it made more sense to move into her house than my small apartment in Austin.

Anyway, if I was single, I’d probably look at Fort Worth. Lots of driving jobs in the DFW area.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

Go to the Las Vegas area, Utah is full. No vacancy. Unless your going to a hotel for a weekend and spending money, then going home.

In Salt Lake City, a reasonably decent 1 bedroom apartment starts around $1800.00 monthly.

Wow ! But the omaha metro isn't far behind that if you want a nice apt with a garage in a decent area it's 1500 plus now .
I am seeing a positive to this in my area tho as it's pushing people who can't afford a 200 to 500k house into areas that 20 years ago that I avoided in the daylight forcing new building , renovations and rejuvenation of areas that went to hell in the 70s and there are bargains to be had there for now .

    Brettj3876 and dwells40 Thank this.

The correct answer is Mississipi. Except maybe for the women. But you can always import some of those.

I agree. You'll love being a resident of Las Vegas. Plenty of trucking jobs too.

    JoeyJunk and bzinger Thank this.
