I didn’t even finish your post but No. there’s no secret

You are either paying for the savings in State tax through higher taxes on products
Maybe products you don’t use so you will gain a little there
Maybe it’s through less services like a smaller police and fire dept where you live
Or no parks or crappy ones
    Bike paths
4 wheeler or other recreational areas

    But
You most definitely are paying for any services and or taxes in the end

Some like you may feel they gained but you lost it somewhere or you’re in a place that pay you in sunshine like Florida

Florida has no tax but has a lot of dumpy areas and no jobs for new graduates like Minnesota or others have

Take a ride down I35 in MN and it’s non stop hiring and all over $22 an hour no exp
    Places like Florida
    Go mow or bus tables
There’s not as many $22 start pay jobs if any and that creates low rent areas and usually more crimes
Every story starts. A Florida man.....

My original point without getting into a pissing match is that if I left Mn for Texas just for the State tax savings then I would be fooling myself
Now if I want some other things like weather or atmosphere then that starts making more sense. But not tax alone

Apples to apples unless you are a business there is no advantage for just the Tax reason

Oklahoma. The reddest State in the Country. Not one county in OK voted blue in the 2020 Presidential election. Plus you can hang out with Big Chief and the 405 guys from Street Outlaws.

Maybe that's why it's one of the poorest states in the nation. ;)

Oklahoma is a reservation. There is no poorer ethnic group than the native people. The tragedy continues.

Actually there's seven other states that are poorer than Oklahoma, but I'm sure it's just a coincidence that six of those seven are also red. ;)

    #### straight. I’ve traveled this country, and hands down South Texas. It’s a factory down there.

Alaska is pretty warm, I used to live there. The sun stays up until like 2 am in the morning and we only have darkness for like 4 hrs, you can see people mowing their lawns at 1 am.

When I lived in Texas, vehicle registration was dirt cheap, even for new ones. Now Nevada on the other hand, registration was painfully high.
