I wasnt quite in a position to do that last winter. But if a storm is brewing, I'll be heading south or probably just go home this winter.

It's GloBULL warming. However, most just call it weather.

I'm glad its not just Americans that get stupid when weather conditions go bad. With all the Russian vids out,.. I think they take the crown for the sheer amount of idiot drivers in icee conditions.

I saw a vid last night. Russian trucker had to slam on his brakes for an ignorant pedestrian choosing to cross a cross walk as he was at speed coming up to it and almost lost his load over that. Driver got out. Confronted the dim witted guy. The other guy pointed to the cross walk,.. I can only assume he said you have to stop for me, its the law. To which the trucker punched him in the face and got back in his truck as the other guy ran off. I wish I could do this here in the US and not go to jail. Gotta love those crazy Russians.

I use 87 octane for my fuel treatment when it gets cold. Cheaper than what they sell on the shelf, and readily available when the bottles are sold out.

I was in Dickinson ND last January for that cold snap that came through. Actual air temp was -9f with -55f wind chill. I do flat bed,.. I could only stand it for 5 mins outside the truck. It took me about 5 - 10 mins to beat the ice off a strap and get it loosened up. Then I would go back inside and hug the heater for 10 mins. It was all I could stand before my nose, ears and anything else exposed felt like it was on fire. Took me about 1 hour just to undo my straps that morning. The guys waiting on me to unload me said take your time. We arent in any hurry as they went back inside the building.

That's alright I prefer not to explode.

A lot of ppl swear by adding a couple gallons of gas. I'm not one of em. More power to ya for saving a few bucks.

The thing about WINTER is it comes back EVERY YEAR , just sad that so many forget about in the way they get prepared or how they drive

Because of the huge amount of insurance fraud in Russia everyone has dash cams there, and because of that Russia is a never ending source of entertainment. This video is one of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LxtO_vMokk
