Schneider fires a driver over a mudflap?

Wow. I could wallpaper a good sized room with the mudflats I've ripped off over the years. Glad I don't work for Schneider.

By the way, most mudflaps are DESIGNED to come off fairly easily. And to be replaced, as well.

Lesson learned, cover up incidents if possible. Or don't screw yourself trying to be helpful and honest over minor bumps.

I just looked at their website, I like the Western Regional option, once I get experience of course. It doesn't get into the contract and pricetag of leaving. Roehl's is brutal $7K, Prime $4,400. The local tech school would be around $3,200. I just hate contracts ever since the military, lol.

Tech school is good if you don't want a contract. I've done the military thing also, but I'm pretty laid back about that stuff.

I talked with the Jim Palmer recruiter, went a lot smoother than Prime conversation. I asked about how long I'd have to work there before being able to go Western Regional, he was saying as soon as I am done training. I thought that was for people that have done it for years. I don't mind running everywhere, just prefer to see West. Is he blowing smoke on this one?

Its apparent I'd never survive in trucking. If someone threatened to fire me for tearing up a bit of grass I'd probably tell them to #### off. I don't have the patience for that level of stupid.

I doubt he's blowing smoke. There's a need for western regional drivers and also for coast to coast drivers.

Thanks for all your help, it's hard making a decision but this company seems like the least risk contract wise and they run where I prefer. I think it may be a go for me.

Did Prime buy Jim Palmer? I saw a Prime truck pulling a Jim Palmer trailer the other day.
