Would like to get my mic and cord mounted remotely in the dash rather than front of radio. Any help?

Friend lf mine had an old 3300HP
He had the radio installed in upper console if i could call it that way in his FLD120.

He order mic cord extension and ran in through door/windshield post and into the dash his mic was coming out of the dash panel.

    Making sense?

    lester Thanks this.

Take the mic connector out of the radio, extend it with a couple pairs of shielded audio mic cable, Mount the original connector in the dash.

Or get a jack out of a used radio from a shop and just solder the wires parallel.
