I know a few guys that have removed their passenger seat. They run local and haul coal so they take everything off of the truck that they can so that they can haul more coal. They don't carry passengers so out comes the seat.

Geeze Louise! How much crapola do you need? Bunk to store stuff? LOL! I was able to manage enough stuff that would fit ointo a large bag and 1 carry on! Anything else I didn't need like the microwave and coffee pot and before I put the computer in, a TV!

I've found that the cabinets in a Freightliner up to a Cascadia with all the shelves and closet spaces where more than enough to put what I needed in! The top bunk always stayed latched in the up position! And that's from Centuries, Columbias and Cascadias! And even Peterbuilts!

Why does everyone think you need the kitchen sink and all the accessories to it in a freaking truck!
Lets not forget that the top bunk isn't the best place to use a storage spot! One sudden stop as in a rear end, off the shoulder of the road, a hit from behind or a rollover and all that crapola laying on that "shelf" called a bunk will become airborne and can hurt or even kill when it connects with your head!Thats why it has a net for anyone stupid enough to sleep in it while driving so in case of the above mentioned accidents whoever is sleeping up there doen't make it through the windshield or become part of the dashboard! hat netting isn't going to hold a can back!

well for one thing i drive in the oil fields where you might be stuck sitting in your truck on a disposal site for 14 hours like i was last night, its nice to have ways to cook food and make yourself some coffee ect esp when you your stuck sitting somewhere the only modern convenience is a outhouse...lol
