Replace this strap?

Whenever in doubt just replace. I can buy Ancra at $11 each at Global Parts in Atlanta with no minimums. Tarpstop is another good source although you'll have to pay shipping and buy at least a case. Global parts is on Moreland Ave. just north of I285 on the south side. They typically have good prices on most everything.

 

had a kid at the coop on 40 just east of Ft. Smith, AR beg me for extra straps once, I was in for a level 1. he was OOS for ###### straps (CRST)

 

Not sure what brand my straps are, but I pick up a trailer that needs an extra, I just hunt down another Boyd trailer and swipe a strap.
I'm the not the one buying them.

 

I have to do it because my box isn't big enough to carry extra only things I would need on a daily bases, if I had the extra room for one I would get some.

One thing the Prostar's have over the 9400's, that box is 3 inches larger on the inside.

 

I carry 10 yellow ANCRA straps and 15 kenedyne xtreme straps.... i only have 14 winches tho LOL

 

Oh well, one gets chewed by a load or has a problem you have extra.

 

Enough is enough, move along and any more name calling you are going to be transferred to reefers for a week.

Serious folks, the flatbed side is a great section and this name calling and crap will stop.

I discovered a compartment under the bed, I took some of the APU's worthless junk(Stuff that was removed from the truck when installing, never thrown out but stowed under the bed." out, moved the blower over a bit. And BINGO, fits 2 straps and some other stuff I need, like stakes for my stake pockets, and my 8 flags, 2 strobes,and the oversized banner.
