replacement turbo for the isx holset

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Nothing was directed towards you. I said what I did, because I'm assuming that you've invested roughly $4K in your new turbo and didn't want to throw it away when it has a warranty on it. To do all the things needed to remove the existing turbo you're going to invest another $8-9K plus labor plus with the additional loss of the $4K from your existing turbo, for a grand total of roughly $13K to fix your problem. Not many people willing to do this or have the money in their bank account to do it. If you want to do it, I can help you. If you think I'm an Ahole that's fine too, PDI has many dealers that can assist you also.

 

I'm not sure where this thread got so far off track, but first and foremost...........there is absolutely no turbocharger that will bolt to this engine without serious modifications. There is absolutely no turbo you can purchase from BorgWarner Turbo Systems that will fit this application without modifying the ECM tuning, the EXHAUST MANIFOLD, removing the EGR COOLER. The turbo that will be used with all these modifications will be a CUSTOM BUILT HYBRID, so it doesn't exist as a BW part number that you can purchase off the shelf

So I'm the Ahole for not posting a part number or saying I'll supply you one. I can supply you one at a reasonable price, but it won't work without the other things being done

 

Yikes 9 large for the conversion eh? Guess I'm going to replace my holset VGT with another holset VGT.

 

Just a question about turbo's, warranties, and all of this PDI "stuff"... Mr Haney, how do I find you and your shop? I have needed your expertise for a while!!!
