I have a Holland fifth wheel that I need to replace the air slide cylinder.

Do I need to remove the fifth wheel itself to do that job?

Can someone give me an idea where the bolts are that I take apart to remove the cylinder?

Shouldn't have to remove the fifth wheel

Getting the pins out depends on the type of slider you have. Mine doesn't have levers, the plungers and cylinder are all inline. To get it out I rigged up some woodworking clamps to compress the springs. With the springs pulled back there is a dowel that falls right out

They make a special tool but it's spendy:

I just used a regular valve spring compressor for cars.
