I found a company through yelp of all places. They were very professional and did my work truck and car at my shop for much less than safelite.
I called about 20 places, let your fingers do the walking. -
windshields are really very easy to install. large curved glass is even easier. put the seal on the glass, get a 3/16 rope spray with soapy water and tuck it in the lip of the seal, start in the bottom center with the rope. wrap the rope around seal and tuck it in as you go. the rope will have both ends in the bottom center. spray the seal and window frame with the soapy water. with a full size windshield it takes 3 guys. hand the glass to your pals have them center it into place go inside pull the rope end till it starts to go around the first bend. pull the other end of the rope till it goes around the first two bends stop in the top about a foot or so go back to the other end and pull the rope the rest of the way in. you can slap the glass with open palm to set it.take your ring off your finger first. it really is very easy

Man some of you guys get it lucky regarding glass.
I just sold my western star 4964, and needed to replace the glass to safety it. I got a deal on used glass from a wrecker for 200 bucks for both windshields, and 125 install. -
icsheeple Thanks this.

Ive never heard of safelite before, i wonder if we even have that up in Canada? -
I recently replaced a 1 piece curved w900 cost & 60.00 at the dealer. KW Dayton Ohio. Usually a 1 hour job if it has the bead seal. I have found oem glass usually cheap than after market.

i got mine done on my freightliner for about 125 per side. at a freightliner dealer. and they had the glass on hand only took them maybe 30 mins to get it done so i wouldn't discount a dealer without checking there prices first.

I do my own on my FLD. I have to remove my visor to make it easier. I mix soapy water with some tire bead lube for the ultimate in slippery-osity.
Murphy's law says the first week with your new glass you will get a chip from a rock that came out of nowhere.
