I have been coming to these forums long enough I know what happens when you try to haul junk down the road.

We did eventually get cleaned up in here a little bit. I am sure that I don’t exactly smell like a bundle of roses right now either. I can’t shower everyday off a trainee pay. He probably puts up with my smell too.

I just want to get through it and when I get my own truck I can shower more and be as clean as I want.

Just idle curious here. How long you been driving? For who?

And guess what? I didn't put up with it while training.

I don’t really post where I work (currently), but feel feee to PM me.

As far as how long I’ve been driving- been a CDL holder for 22 years. Drove about 2 years before that was an actual requirement.

    Why do you ask?

    How about you?

Just like to know sometimes as there are too many people here with little time bouncing up and down the road that likes to sound like "experts". We're just going to have to disagree over the buttercup and baby thing. Don't think either of us are going to lose any sleep over that.

    Be safe driver

I've known your trainer for 17 years. He's one of the finest human beings on the planet.
I'm texting him right now to tell him what a candy ### you are, and to start eating Stagg Dynamite Hot chili, uncooked, strait from the can, at least twice a day.

Shame on those who say hang in there, if the op was female y'all would be giving different advice. Let's just put this out there, what if you are in a collision, umbelted trainer goes through windshield, that pre trip you skipped would have shown the brake damage from that road gator you hit last shift. Now , you are in a poop load of trouble with out a paddle. Ask yourself now do you want that new trainer.

We fuel everyday since we operate as a team, when I sleep my trainer drives.

He did give me his Loves card and said go in and get a shower. When I went in they said there was no shower on the card. I don’t know why. Our company uses Loves almost exclusively and I drive 10 a day on Loves fuel. They should just let me shower.

My terminals I drive to have free showers. So I am avg about a shower every 5 days right now. Lol

I think so. Haven’t been counting. One or two of the locations was told to avoid the showers, so I did. I paid for a couple of them. Florida showers are clean enough, Chicago too.
