old Motors are always ready to go to work and make money after many years of sitting in the woods and even if the rest of the truck isn’t up to the task. Try putting one of these epa trucks out in the woods for 10 years. Probably wouldn’t need 20k worth of labor and sensors

Wouldn't it be something if within the next couple years or so, the roads start looking like we are back in the 80's again...lol I would love it if the old trucks numbered in the million's.... We would have a seat at the round table than.

I'm not sure that's a '77. I thought the 359 came out with the round dash in '76. By the looks of the fuel tanks, this guy wasn't worried about HOS. A Cummins will start after a long slumber, but I wouldn't take this truck around the block. They're nuts.

I’ll bet half those s cams are rusted to the tubes from the lack of use and grease

Mr. Cam Roberts, try being a little more optimistic.... No matter what it needs, it will get it I am sure and be running great in no time, just like my 84' Bring Back The Old Iron...

Oh yeah no doubt brotha. Doesn’t take much to get it back going. Give me that truck for a week. Pribabaly all I would need to get it safe. I was just saying saying about the s cams. That’s a easy fix.

I'm not really a Peterbilt fan, but that is a nice truck.

I like that it has aluminum wheels and a nice headache rack and the interior is nice and clean and it is more like a modern truck with the air ride.

We should all be so lucky to find something like that.

He probably spent less than 1/10 of what a new truck is, and even if he put that much back into it he's got 1/20 of what a new piece of junk cost.

So not only does he have a better truck, it's way cooler and easier to repair than those plastic pieces of excrement they make nowadays.

    Old iron rules!

I would drive that, think we've figured out how to get them old girls to ride better than they did new too.
