I would not have driven it very far at all.It's in need of alot of TLC however it seems to be all there which is really fortunate. Once shes updated with tires, fittings and so on, fresh batteries and whatever else needing work I would be happy to put it to work nationally.

Is there are benefit to having a loud jake? It seems like a muffled one is generally more usable everywhere but I haven't had two tractors the same to tell the diff.

I assume if air ride was even available then it likely was a pricey option. Most trucks of this vintage ran 4-spring Reycos.x1Heavy Thanks this.

It would be a travesty to see the likes of a “modern driver” come waddling out of that nice machine.

If I remember right, being loaded was just as good on that. Being empty wasnt too bad.
I remember going over those looking for bolts and brackets that are breaking. -
