Bobtail thing still boggles my mind. Or the ones that park on the sides in front of spots making it super tight to back in or impossible to do so. TA in Binghampton NY had that happen almost opted for the reserved parking but hit the rest area instead. Blocked like 4-5 spots on the edge in the back. Often thought about blocking in the bobtails that park all the way in the back of the spot. So when your rolling around you see a spot and like yes!!! Get closer and he's deep in the spot bobtail. I always park in 4-wheeler spots or rv parking bobtail in pilots/FJ and TA/Petros just anywhere out if the way.
reserved parking at TA and petro?

-

skibum_63 Thanks this. -
A lot of drivers are willing to pay for that reserve spot. As a matter of fact they look forward to not having to drive in circles for an hour after a long day. It a service whose time is due as far as I'm concered.Joetro, SHO-TYME, biggare1980 and 2 others Thank this.

I use it quite often, although the one thing that bothers me is, at 1 location they charge $12 but then give you a bottle of water when you check in, how about just charging me $10 and I'll carry my own water.
IF you want to complain about parking, how about when you pass a company terminal then 2 blocks later get to the truck stop and there are 15 of their trucks in there taking up space yet there's room on their lot?Joetro and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
I know some companies don't allow their drivers to park at their yards/terminals for their 10's... I'm sure most do though
-
at transam you go to olathe and see trucks all over town even thou we have a big yard
some guys hate being near the power source
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
-
What? That's ridiculous to not let your own trucks park at your own terminal.
-
Our company allows us to, but we are not allowed to idle. At our Gainesville terminal anyway, everyone drives their trucks to the hotel down the street and stays there
