I would bet yes. They collect the $20 at the exit gate or you show a receipt. You might be able to buy $7.00 worth of stuff at the same time you pay the $13 and get away with it showing that receipt at the gate.

In the days of cabovers and small sleepers, drivers got out there trucks and spent money in the truck stops. With todays trucks driver sleep in the lots and seldom spend a dime in the stores or restuarants. Driver wages are now account for in all the amminities in the trucks. Your pay is now a ref, micro, tv, computer, huge sleeper, apu, ect. They are not free from the dealers. The TS owners WILL have to charge to pay for upkeep of parking lots, because of lack of income from the new trucks. How much would you want to pick up the trash, pis bottles, tires, pallets from the lots. They hqve to be disposed of at the landfill. Not to mention the open sewer run off after a rain. Wise up, be clean, and frequent the stores and resturants in the TS. Or watch them close or you pay to park. They are privite for proffit businesses, it its not your RIGHT for them to provide us a place to park, but to make a proffit.
Tonythetruckerdude, rickybobby, Cranky Yankee and 11 others Thank this. -
FWIW, I don't mind paying for parking. I get reimbursed so its all good.

Pay to park, redeemed in the store, will be a fair solution for the owners of the TS.
cetanediesel Thanks this. -
i mostly resent the bobtails that take up big truck parking
or at least dont double up
but they have rights too i knowtruckon Thanks this. -
What happens ig I call to reserve a spot and pay over the phone then something happens and I can't make it to the ts?
Sent from somewhere out there -
Non refundable according to the website. I can see it as a good idea in certain areas.

I use it quite a bit, yeah, it costs a few bucks, but I'd rather pay to park in a decent spot, then get somewhere and not find anything and having to park in a crappy spot. It takes alot of stress off of me so I can deal with what I need to instead of worrying if I can find a place to park.

ive used it in tn many times got reimbursed from my company each time. i end up shutting down around 10 pm so the lots are normally packed by that time so i call ahead and know ive got a spot if i happen to get out of a shipper by a ta/petro low on hours i just head over and look to see if theres anything left then call and get a spot while sitting on the lot
