We went to pay to park.It got rid of almost all the dirtbags. The drivers that park now appreciate a clean lot .Very seldom do i have to pick-up trash and piss bottles anymore.

Dont you think some drivers screw the TS owners, and Wal Mart the way they take advantage of the parking areas. As you know a few screw ups make it hard on everyone else. One rule for everyone to try to control the abusive few.

Hmmmm Baltimore, Jessup, south Dallas TAs all pay to park. All three dirty and filled with lizards, trash, and piss bottles. All three I've been to and had to ask for friggin toilet paper. Rude cashiers. Security? Where? Only seen the guy at Jessup sitting in his car smoking while the lizards hung out on the steps to the store. So what am I paying for again?

I frequent the stores when I need something or feel like eatting junk food or fast food. Usually the salads look terrible. Not eating wilted salad. I buy a coffee just about every morning. I could bring a coffee pot but easier to buy and I'm not that cheap.

I will only pay to park if I'm desperate. Dont see the need to.pay to stay on a lot worse than most of the free ones I stay at.

But I don't know anything because I haven't been driving since the invent of the internal combustion engine.

    Sent from somewhere out there

I have used it several times. Think it is a good idea. If I know in the am that it is going to be late, I call that morning and don't have to worry if their is going to be a spot.

Surely, surely, you are not implying that drivers who don't pay to park are "dirtbags"? I must have misunderstood that. Right?

Now you know that ROOKIES know way more than we do......Our decades of experience seeing things go on is nowhere as good as those "control groups " assumptions...done by folks that don't know a thing about the industry......It never fails....rookies always know more...they read it on the internet........

I've used it a few times. Wheeling. Elkton. OKC. Jeffersonville. Maybrook. Lodi. Usually the place is full or over-full except for those spots. Paying for a guaranteed parking spot where you can't find a regular one, or when you know it's going to be full by the time you get there, has been a life saver.

It seems that way,but there is an exception to every rule.
