Oustanding tickets have a way of showing up at the worst possible time, they're never forgotten or forgiven.

I understand what you are saying, but photo radar tickets are not real tickets until they are served in AZ.

    Dryver Thanks this.

That may be the way in Arizona, but not the way it is many states.

Just another point of interest....I was told by our accounting dept that if you "live" out of your truck full time and do not have a residence then technically you would not qualify for the daily per diem deduction from the IRS because it is designed to be a benefit for the days you are away from home. Again, I am not a tax expert so take it just like I presented....just what I heard.

That's interesting - so do they give a street address now, or still a po box? I was fine with mailboxes etc. I only switched to UPS because of all the companies who wouldn't deliver to a po box.

Very true. But, the IRS took the stand in my audit that my home was not the tax home. They said it was the terminal. In appeals right now for over a year.

Just solidifies the point of just making a family member you can trust or a friend to serve as your home address

Just a heads up along this concept. If you don't have a residence do not take per diem. IRS rule is you have to maintain a residence that you pay the residential bills for to qualify for per diem.

And all that takes is an address that you send your wifi bill to.
Still, it needs a real address to send it to.

A UPS box is OK if it shows up as a real address, but a relative or friend's address is much better.

It's hard to believe that someone doesn't have anyone that they can use for a mailing address.
