As for those being all pissy about my saying that my bf's auto start had kicked on: have you never made an honest mistake? No he shouldn't have had it on at all but as I said it's become habit for him to turn it on. The OP of this thread had no reason to be complained about other than a pissy neighbor.

No vehicles over 6 feet tall, no vehicles over 10,000 lbs as well as no vehicles solo or combination exceeding 65 feet.

Another is.

Visibility 200 ft behind and in front of parked vehicle if parked within 18" of curbed roadway with adjacent curbing.

Biggest point. Is. Look at your home and what zone it is listed as being in. R-1. Residential one dwelling or Out to R-R is rural residential.

They are designated to limit commecial parking in residential areas City or county

One work around is remove your personal vehicle. Get a handicap placard. Put that in window and park truck in driveway. That vehicle becomes primary vehicle for dwelling. No one not even Highway patrol or state troopers can touch your truck.

 

Where is your landlord taking a risk if their paying the mortage with your money? Rent for thirty years and your gauranteed nothing in the end. Purchase and you have a good chance to gain in value. The housing crisis already happened.

You obviously typed that too quickly and just messed up the saying altogether. So let me set you straight.

On a more serious note. I sometimes park my tractor in my driveway. It does not take up anymore room then say two cars parked end to end. It has a legal license on it and it is my property. For the police to remove it, they would need a court order to come onto my property to get it. And they would not be able to get one.

Before I parked the truck there the first time, I went to all my neighbors and explained what I was going to do. I gave them the chance to object but no one did. I did not bring my trailer to the house as I have a place that I can park a trailer and bobtail on home. Most wars start because of a break down of communication.

It seems to me that the person so offended is worried about something called property values. The only people hurt by falling property values are those who are planning on selling and moving out anyway, so blank them if they can't take a joke.

As to renting versus buying. Right now the US has a 17 trillion USD plus debt. The only way to pay that off is to print money. When a government bond comes due the government must redeem the bond with cash. Not gold but paper money. At that point China will have to buy something with all those paper dollars or some how learn to eat cash. It has no value by itself. So we are looking at a period of hyper Inflation coming sooner or later. The people who make out the best in those cases are people with large amounts of debt. So if you believe in hyper inflation you should be buying as much real property as you can and you should be using other peoples money to do so.

Also you state that it is your husband and not your Boy Friend. Does your husband know that you have a boy friend? Back in my day we got jealous about things like that. Kids now a days......

 

Woolyrino you just back up what I said in a prevoius reply about communication. If you politely ask and communicate your intent to all those involved then they dont feel like you are imposing and will probably be OK with it...too many people just take their rights for granted without consideration for others and that makes people feel threatened. Even if you really arent bothering them they feel like they have been pushed and they push back.
