TNT does not charge a mileage cost. But you are responsible for maintenance.

I have a 2004 utility 53 foot I’d sell you. It was the 2nd trailer I ever bought and have a lot of new stuff on it. I’ve been keeping it around waiting for the right time to send it to it’s new home.

I believe the comment was that it's easier to say you'll dispatch yourself than it is to actually do it. It's not that simple or easy. Mind you, it is done all the time but there are downfalls and it's time consuming.

Oh, I gotcha. Yeah, when I talk about "dispatching myself", I'm not talking about tomorrow. I'm talking six months to a year from now.

I'm not trying to be funny but what is so difficult about calling Brokers and setting your own loads up?

    NightWind and Siinman Thank this.

I was thinking the same thing. I started out that way and had no problems. The hardest thing for me was sending in all the paperwork to get set up. But again not hard to do just takes a few extra minutes.

Well, nothing. Except I called about thirty brokers Wednesday and Thursday, and every single one of them wouldn't let me haul because of my new authority. Otherwise, this would be simple.

Get set up with all the big brokers first. CHR will run you from day one. I think TQL was 30-90 days. Convoy will run you day one as well. I ran mainly off of CHR and did pretty good considering I started right after the big push on ELDs ended and rates was down.

Thanks. I'm not trying to #####, but some people seem to have forgotten what it takes to start from scratch. Things aren't the same today as it was when power steering was a pipe dream, and 300 horsepower was something to brag about.

    I appreciate your help.
