    I think you may get dinged for using bungees as a tie down. If you put a 1” or 2” strap then they cant say anything.

    looks nice as does the dunnage rack etc

    I thought about that. I drilled a third hole in the middle in anticipation, and I've got a couple 1" straps I could use.

    Thanks! I can't believe they want a thousand bucks for dunnage racks. Those I built represent about $25 in steel, and maybe three hours labor.

    Lookin' good! They will most definitely get you for using bungees these days but I don't know the specifics on what's allowed running flatbed. DOT wanted to write me just for securing a tool box lid with a bungee. The lock worked but the hinge was split. Still, he said no bueno.
