The best one if you're into that is on US 89 in Utah about 30 miles south of I 70. 0 Wireless service, you're in a canyon, and it's right where a white water camp is.
Noob driver. Only been 5 months Been sitting on the fence for 3 years running my Yapper on here deciding if I wanted to drive.
Oh Ok, So what did you decide on? home time and company wise? My non truck driving friends think they know everything about trucking and I should drive for who they say. They're insane or crazy, or both. I try to tell them there's so many choices of hometime options and freight types that it's like finding a wife.
I run regional hauling milk in a straight bore tanker, home every other night, most runs 800 miles round trip or better. Love it great company , fair pay, nice western star gliders unnueterd. Tanker has ruined me though for hauling flats in the future.
It depends really. I will never sleep at a rest area in Virginia. One time, DOT woke me up for no reason. They wanted to do a lvl 3 and I was like okay, I passed it. It was rude, but still. I looked at the back, and the guys that were parked on the ramp were given tickets lol.
Did they let you finish your break before you had to log the inspection? I would be pissed if I had to start another break, and they would know it.
Oh well you needed to me moving along then, anyway. Good chance somebody came along about 10 hours earlier and chalked tires to know who they could roust up when they got ready to open up for business.
