I really like to park at rest areas. But some states haven't considered that drivers have different needs than 4 wheel travelers. I love to find truck parking in the back (quieter) and a nice place to walk is cool. Just went through a really nice one in IL on a lake, but couldn't stop
since it was early. If you use an iPhone, there's an app
that lists rest areas, so you won't be disappointed that the next one is closed, and it's free. That aside, what are the nice rest areas and what are the bad ones?

Quebec ones are my least favorite.

    Baack Thanks this.

anymore now days states are clsoing all access to most of thier rest areas because they don't have the money to maintain them. I guess money is more important than a TIRED DRIVER be a truck or a 4 wheeler
