Why are some of you having such a hard time with this?

    1) pre-trip, 15 minutes...................................0001-0015
    2) drive 11 hours..................781 miles.............1100 hrs
    3) stop for 10 hour break................................2115 hrs
    4) drive 2.75 hrs..................195 miles......15 post trip.....2359 hrs....976 miles total

This is a 71 mph AVERAGE...can be done across I-80 UT, WY, NE.
This is an average speed for the 24 hour period, which would include the speed reduction through the communities, speed loss climbing the hills, and speed gained down hill.....

Now to "Phroziac"...you stated I was wrong, I used, and QUALIFIED my statement with AVERAGE AT 71 MPH, in my statement to you initially I NOTED: DON'T CHANGE THE PARAMETERS OF THE STATEMENT TO MEET YOURS!

Again I will say;...keep quiet, pay attention (to the words and qualifiers in someones statements), and you might learn something!:biggrin_25516:

Those parameters don't work for flats and permit loads.....We get to "sleep-in" and knock-off early.... :biggrin_2559:

    So....in other words...Tough truckers don't wear tarps?:biggrin_255:
Just kidding...no way I would get up and toss tarps...iron on the tires is bad enough!:biggrin_25513:
