    Our two Class-A CDL school/academy locations serve entry-level students with no permit from Mississippi, Louisiana, Illinois, and Indiana along with permit holders from Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We offer refresher courses to students around the country who have a CDL-A but no recent experience.

    Thanks Chinatown. I haven't considered state taxes. I'll have a closer look at KLLM.

    I'm in Texas. I let mine go and after over 10 yrs, I joined a company that put me through their training at 64 yrs old. I've been with them for 3 yrs now. If you can pass the dot physical, I can work

    I *retired* +20 years ago. It cost me less then $20 a decade to keep. I think it’s now $30 a decade. Why let it lapse? I had a few occasions it was useful. Just needed current health card GTG.

    Good point, but everyone is different. When I retired in '22 I said I'm never getting back in a truck. Went to the DMV said take this and give me a regular driver's license. Haven't missed the truck or the cdl one bit. Don't know if it was dropping the cdl or commute, but my car insurance went down.
