I worked for PAM for over a year, left looking for something better. Regarding my trainer at Pam the guy at inspection yard in Laredo was not going to allow trailer to be passed through inspection because of the bent cross member. My trainer Eric persuaded the inspection guy to pass trailer through inspection with the promise he was going to fix the trailer in the Laredo yard by taking the trailer to maintenance. So inspection guy passed trailer through did not even take a picture of the bent cross member. My trainer never took the trailer in maintenance to have it fixed. Just park trailer in the yard or never reported the trailer to dispatch. I hope someone else did not get blame for cross member being bent. My trainer had been with Pam for 4 years so that why I posted my damage issue on this board. I guess you can learn bad things from watching other people.

I have to agree - honesty is always the best policy. You'd want to know if something happened to your truck if someone else was in the driver's seat. 8)

It's not so much that they are retreads but that they are trailer tires, which are sadly the most neglected tires on a truck. Especially with big fleets where trailers are dropped/hooked all over the place. And when many drivers do spot a problem, they ignore it, hoping to unload the trailer before the tire pops. I can attest to that fact havving done a lot of drop/hooks for Werner.

I've been hooked to this trailer for almost a year and I check my pressures regularly, but that West Texas heat is a tire killer no matter what and I've lost a couple of tires that were properly inflated and weren't losing any air.
