    PM me..I work for Climate Express. I think if you get your license back, they might can help you since you've got 8 years experience. We had a guy that as out of a truck for 4 years and he got hired. To be fair he did keep his CDL active.

    Yeah mine downgraded, I’m kicking myself for letting my physical expire. Ughh!! Especially since I have to do school all over again, that’s just silly

    If you ever stop trucking again, all you have to do is change your self-certification to one of the 4 categories that don't require a current medical exam instead of getting a new medical exam every year or two. Some states have 2, other states have only 1 one option that doesn't require you keep a current medical. Just google your state and CDL self-certify form. Fill out the form and make sure you keep written proof the sate has your new status.

    If I were you, I would do my best to challenge the training requirements. Below is directly from the FMCSA website link to their approved trainers
