After replacing the stereo amp in the overhead in my 379 I'm getting a whirring coming in through the coax, is there a fix for this?

Or even a way to manage it down?

Amp isn't grounded well enough, check for a screw somewhere on the chassis
If there is one,you will have to run a ground from there to solid chassis metal.
I have a 2500 watt tune kicker and it has the external ground provision, ground everything true to chassis of vehicle.

I've been wondering about that, the factory amp was bolted to a frame ground and they used 3M sitck'em to hold this one down..thanks. I'll try a better ground tomorrow.
