If it were me I would remove the swing kit and just get it aligned and have it deadkey 4 watts pep swing to 16 watts and 100% modulation and be done with it.

Thank you for all of the continued comments and advice. As JReding stated before, I know zero to very little regarding CB radio/setup. I got a SWR meter and have been watching youtube to find out how to use one. What I am not clear on it how it actually works. Does the meter take the place of the CB controls and is it meant to leave hooked up to the radio all the time, or test/adjust and then remove it from the truck set up? Thank you.

I don't know what that means, and there is only one CB shop in the area. I have been told from several sources to avoid it which leaves me with basically no options but to sent the radio out if it needs repaired/tuned. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The radio is already set up with Mosfet final upgrade and the swing kit mod so you should just use it the way it is, hopefully they didnt remove modulation limiter, if other operaters tell you that it sounds loud and clear just keep it as is, if reports say that is sounds raspy or distorted you may just have too turn Dynamike back a little around 300. If you ever do get by a reputable CB shop that you trust have them put it on the bench and see what the numbers are. If you ever do want the swing kit disabled all it takes is the removal of a diode and resister, and also the swr meter can be left in line and not affect the radio and if you choose to unhook it after checking swr you can use the radios meter from time to time just to make sure the swr is not higher.slim6596 and mmdavidson0128 Thank this.
