RFX-75

I just had a recieve upgrade install few days earlier but nothing that has to do with the transmit said was touch. Even before that upgrade install, I had noticed when I had talked on the radio quite a bit that the RFX 75 would get pretty warm and sound gargle thru the talkback. I don't think one would hurt the other, or would it ?

Got my Galaxy Pluto with the RFX75 fix. It was a capacitor inside the RFX. Chris Holland at the Radio Shop said its does 15 and swings 90.

 

150% modulation? Useless on ssb.

 

Where did I write 150% modulation ? Is this a math equation ? I hate math but I know it....... somewhat.... Isn't 1+1=2 ?

 

15 watt carrier at 100% modulation peaks at 60 watts.

 

So when Chris said it swings 90 watts, means what, peak !

 

Btw, had my antenna swr check while I was there, 1.4 on channel 19, 1.6 on 40
