I'm about to make the leap back out as OTR driver. there isn't any good local companies here in Southern Indiana where I can find consitant work. I'm burning up my job search avalibility by going to yards for work only to find I cannot manage paying the monthly bills & save for a future. with that said I really want to get into heavy equipment hauling or maybe find a flatbed outfit who keeps a Driver running steadily, I like coast to coast and can stay out weeks at a time. I considered leasing again however I do recall the last time I did that I only banked $2800 in 4 weeks out, this was during the Covid summer. I only have about 12 years left until retirement. I would like to know my next move is my final destination.. any thoughts or input will be greatly appreciated.
