    I know truckers are rich!! Today I got a bid for a 4x4x4 200 lb cordwood saw. 241 miles door to door $375. That would make freight pay $84000 a day or $26,208,000.00/ year for 1 truck on a 6 day week. You can get rich trucking. I don't know why I didn't charge more all these years.:biggrin_25514:

    LBZ, You're OK. My kind of wheeler-dealer!! I can run it up in my pickyp and have fun doing it too. Get to see some different country and I suppose I can write off the 22 million or so.

    some smart trucker, he rebid at 273.00.

    He was probably wanting to broker it out to someone for $125. Since he has re-bid it, the trucker would only get $100. See they are both losing money now. ;)

    Today an envelope at 1lb going from Rainbow Lake to Edmonton ( 550 miles ) got charged out at 94$....... That almost disgusted me!

    That's funny. He's probably a member on here and the first to complain about how a broker screwed him because the rate was low. To stupid to realize why they're low.:biggrin_2559:
