riding with my dad? Does that count as experience?

    But I don't think it would be legal without a logbook hehe.

    With only 4-6 months experience, and no certified school training, you will be away from the family for 4-6 weeks at a time for 24 cents a mile!

    One thing that riding with your Dad might give you is a leg up over a lot of other students if that is the route you decide to go, there are some students that haven't even seen the inside of truck, let alone know anything about it..

    But having that experience, you will be above the rest of the newbies when it comes to the actual driving work.

    I have drove the truck before just not otr. I plan on going o/o as soon as possible but not sure if any company's will hire a o/o with practically no otr experience. The place my dad is leased on with said he would but they only hual reefer and I can't afford a $30,000 trailer right now
