Rely on the reports alone? No. However, they are a useful tool, especially when purchasing a truck far away. Used in conjunction with a third-party mechanic's inspection, ECM dump, etc., I have used them to save a lot of money and a lot of headaches.

Somebody smashes it up in the yard n fixes themselves, real amateur-like.

A friend's company truck (19,000 miles on it) was hit by lighting. Company had it towed back and took a wreck truck gutted it for the wiring. And rewind his truck.. it was never right again

I contacted the people at RigDig and told them about the situation. They have the CarFax report and they are investigating why it did not show up on their report.
