    I have researched here extensively and my question is...with the new Kohler engine on the newest units are they still problematic? I'm looking at new or would I be better off buying a tripac used? Thanks in advance for your time

    From what I've been told, the 1st version Kohler diesel had a defective oil pan that shortened life of oil and led to premature engine failures. Kohler has resolved that issue though..
