Rig setup opinions

I hauled many loads 80K to 84K in Calif with a 4 axle tractor and a 3 axle RGN,, my RGN was a stretch and my empty weight was 54K,, axle space was 18'4", 5', 5", 33', 5', 5' closed

Calif will permit 60K on a tridum depending on axle spacing ( 140K gross), Calif will alos permit a flip axle down and the king pin to rear axle over 40ft if on the permit app you specify the axles down for weight distribution,

AZ will allow up to 140K gross on a 7 axle set up on I-40 and I-10 on thru loads with a class C permit.
bought at the port of entry,

Stay away from XL trailers,,had 2 and both had serious manufacturing and design defects and had to fight XL to correct the problems,,,took over 2 months each time to resolve the problems and their fix was not a good fix,,

 

I have a cozad 16 tire expando with a 3 kingpin set up, which hole should i have it on?

 

Depends on what you're hauling and where you're going, tractor wheelbase, 5th wheel slide length.
